Excel Macro Protection?

I know how sheet and workbook protection works for Excel, but I have recently come across a situation with people stealing the code I am writing for large Macros for my company and claiming it's their work.

I know that there is a way to protect my Macro code with a password, but I can't seem to find out how. Does anyone know how to protect individual Macro modules so that only people with the password will be able to view the code?

Alt+F11 to go to vba editor, menu, tools, VBA Project, protection tab, check lock project for viewing, put password in both box below click ok, then save file while at the vba editor.

It's a good practice to save at the vba editor once finished with the code, then the right code will other settings(like password) will be saved on the same workbook/add-in. If going back to worksheet then save, a wrong pick of an open workbook from a few opened workbooks means your code/settings not saved as you thought.
