Cal Poly or Santa Barbara?
Pro/Cons of Cal Poly SLO and Santa Barbara for computer science?
I live near San Francisco. Thanks!
Both are good schools for CS, Cal Poly would be better if you wanted a job after your undergraduate work and UCSB would be better for going to graduate school.
UCSB has a bigger party scene and is generally more known but people from Cal Poly always seem to love the place.
In the end both are great schools and you probably wont be disappointed with either one.
Edit: and once the financial aid gets applied, both cost about the same.
